Poetic justice - illustration sequence

Poem on accompanied by a sequence of images, the poem is about a medical society which began experimenting on dead bodies but their research became limited, so they began experimenting on the living behind closed doors, taking the poor and prostitutes from the streets. A young student of the society stumbled across this and himself became a live experiment, for which he sought revenge. (Image)

1 We were savours, geniuses among men.
2 The dead were our textbooks,
Unknown knowledge within their flesh,
But this grew limited,
Little did I know their hunger grew, their minds delved darker.

3 We were savours, geniuses among men.
4 The unwanted unmissed quenched their thirsts,
5 Their screams never heard,
Prying afterhours traumatised, disgusted, sickened to the core.

6 They are demons, blood on their hands.
7 Captured,
Now I am one of the unwanted, unmissed twisted torn,
8 a lifeless carcass holding on to my last breath.
Revenge burning deep within.

9
2 months later

They are demons, blood on their hands.
10 Infuriated, on the brink of a Firenze,
11 I mutilate and slaughter them with their own demoniac devices
12 Until they scream their last breath.
